1. Blogs Have Articles Listed In Sequential Order, With the Latest Article On Top.
Ok, so you now know that a blog is slightly different from a website, so what the slight different is. Well, in a blog the articles you write are listed in a chronological order, yes they are listed from top to bottom with the latest article on the top and the oldest on the bottom.
The word blog is derived from the term ‘Weblog ‘ which means online journal or diary. That is the reason blogs are in a journalistic form. The important point to remember is that despite the journalistic history blogs are no more just personal diaries or journals, they are much more like a business nowadays. (Even though many people use them as personal diaries, but we aren’t talking about them, are we?).
Nowadays blogs can be about any topic you like, because it is your blog. If you seriously want to make money then you probably should blog about something you are passionate about and something you can talk about for hours without realizing that how much time has passed by.
2. With A Blog Adding Content Is Easy.
Ordinary websites have one major drawback that makes one person to avoid making one – the major drawback is that websites are too technical for an ordinary web surfer on the contrary blogs are so much easy that you can create tons of them in a single day.
Moving on to the topic, in an ordinary website adding content is far more difficult for an average internet user like you and me but on the other hand adding content to a blog is much easier you just add the content with a single click, How cool is that? Content is the king for any online business and specially for blogs, so make sure you add good quality content daily or every 2 days. You can make a timetable to add content that will create a trust among your readers that they will find something new on your blog on some certain time.
3. People Can Leave Comments on Blogs.
Now, this is one of my favorite parts about blogging, Commenting. Yes, blog commenting is the best thing that differentiates a blog from an ordinary website. Blogs allow readers to comment on any post they please and come in to contact with author directly whereas websites don’t allow this type of commenting. Commenting on a blog is another useful tool for online marketing you can comment on other blogs within your niche and ask for suggestions and much more. It won’t be wrong to say that commenting has revolutionized blogging to a large extent.
4. Blogs Are Trusted By People More Than An Ordinary Website.
Now, let us revise the above differences. Blogs have articles about the niche you are passionate about, and adding those articles to your blog is so much easy that a child can do it and people can comment on your articles whether they like it or whether they don’t, but combining all the above differences makes blogging – A Complete Conversation Tool.
Moving on with the topic as blogs are a good way of communication between the author and the reader, so this makes blogs much more trustworthy among the readers because they know they are in contact with the author himself whereas websites are less updated because of their technical difficulties so people tend to trust blogs more than a website.
